Sustainability at Hotel Paradies in Dorf Tirol

“Why live sustainably?” Adam asked.

Because we want to leave our children more than beautiful memories. For us, sustainability is not only an attitude, but also a path. A path we follow with all our heart. With the Green Label certification, we are taking the next consistent step. For our Paradies, for our three children and for the generations to come.

About us

Regional, conscious, and close to nature at Hotel Paradies

In our kitchen, we focus on short distances, fresh products and genuine origins. Our vegetables come directly from the farmer and are processed shortly after harvest. Berries are delivered twice a week from the neighbouring village. We source our dairy products from South Tyrol, along with many other products that are served at our tables.

For cooking, we love using fresh herbs from our Paradies garden. Regional honey and vegan alternatives such as South Tyrolean dandelion honey are also available for our guests. Our wines come predominantly from South Tyrol and our guests enjoy the finest Spronser spring water.

Our sustainable attitude is also reflected in many details beyond the kitchen: recycled teak on the terraces, South Tyrolean cherry wood and marble from Martell Valley in the rooms, as well as coasters, coffee machine mats and holders made from recycled leather. In the rooms, guests will find vegan natural cosmetics and exclusive organic tea from Bioteaque. We replace pens with pencils and provide many documents digitally. We also produce our own electricity with a photovoltaic system, use water-saving showers, benefit from good building insulation and consciously focus on reducing single-use packaging and separating waste carefully.

Sustainable out of conviction at Hotel Paradies

Step by step, and with clear decisions, our little Paradies is becoming even more sustainable. And we continue along this path with all our heart. Because for us, responsibility does not begin someday, but right now.
